INSURANCE
Travel Insurance
Seamore Papua highly recommends that all passengers obtain comprehensive travel insurance coverage before embarking on the cruise journey for their peace of mind and protection.

Diving Insurance
Additionally, we highly recommend all passengers to have diving insurance for their safety and peace of mind. For those who do not have it, we strongly encourage obtaining diving insurance before participating in any diving activities. Your safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure that you have a worry-free and enjoyable experience with us.

DIVING CERTIFICATION AND GUIDELINES
Customers participating in our diving excursions must hold certification from recognized scuba diving agencies such as SSI, CMAS, NAUI, PSI, PADI, PSS or an equivalent organisation. Certified divers are expected to follow Seamore Papua’s guidelines, instructor directives, and regulations set forth by their certification agency. Failure to comply with instructions, present certification documentation, or logbook may lead to restrictions or disqualification from diving activities. Divers must acknowledge the importance of possessing technical proficiency, physical fitness, and understanding the associated risks. In cases where divers are deemed unsuitable or unqualified for a dive, especially in challenging conditions like strong currents, Dive Guides, instructors, and the Cruise Director retain the right to refuse dive access. Under such circumstances, hiring a private dive master may be necessary for safety, at a rate of 800k Rp/day/diver. All divers are required to furnish a valid logbook containing recent dives and the requisite certification cards for the planned dives, upon request.

Understanding Force Majeure Events and Unforeseeable Acts
“Force majeure” refers to any circumstances beyond the control of Seamore Papua, the Crew, or the passengers, including but not limited to strikes, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, war, governmental regulations, or major mechanical failures. These events are unforeseeable and may impact the cruise operations. Please be aware of these potential occurrences and understand that they are outside of our control.

TRIP CANCELLATION:
In the very unlikely event that Seamore Papua has to cancel a trip, we will notify you promptly. In such cases, rescheduling will be an available option. Alternatively, we will arrange for an alternative LOB. Further details regarding rescheduling will be communicated accordingly.

Liability for Injury, Illness, Death, and Property Damage
While Seamore Papua prioritises passenger safety, we want to clarify that we do not provide compensation for injuries, fatalities, or damage to passengers or their belongings unless directly caused by our staff. In the unfortunate event of a medical issue requiring evacuation, aircraft use, or repatriation costs, passengers are solely responsible for covering these expenses. We kindly ask passengers to be mindful of these terms and take necessary precautions to safeguard their safety and well-being throughout the cruise. Your safety is our utmost concern, and we are here to assist you in any way we can.
